Other large banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo are quoting the same thing. If you are looking for something better you will need to check out CitiMortgage or PHH. And you can do worse at PNC or GMAC.
The best 30 year FHA loan interest rates are 3.500% with a bit higher APR of 4.053%. 30 year jumbo FRM interest rates are on the books at 3.750% and an APR of 3.894% which is of course a bit higher than the non-jumbo loans.
VA 30 year interest rates are 3.750% with an APR of 4.081%.
15 year fixed rate loan interest rates at the bank are coming out at 2.500% with an APR of 2.857% today.
15 year FHA loan interest rates have been offered at 2.750% carrying an APR of 3.286% today. 15 year Jumbo loan interest rates are published at 2.875% and APR of 3.126% today. VA 15 year mortgage interest rates are being offered for 2.875% carrying an APR of 3.450%. 10 year fixed rate loans are available starting at 2.375% today yielding an APR of 2.920%. The 3/1 ARMS are on the books at 3.125% with an APR of 3.475%. As far as ARMs go, 5 year loans have been published at 2.750% at US Bank yielding an APR of 3.296% at the beginning of the loan.
