Could the announcement of the fabled Samsung Galaxy S4 release date be just a few weeks away?
Samsung has made every effort to hoard the media spotlight over the course of the weekend, announcing not only a mysterious new device unveiling at next month’s CES, but also a full rundown of what to expect from it Galaxy S3 Premium Suite upgrade.
A new clip uploaded to the Samsung Tomorrow website has teased the mobile tech community the world over by warning us of “Something New” on the horizon. While no specific details are given on the device model or type to expect, there are plenty of words thrown in like “Design, Dreams” and “The Future!” to help get the imagination going.
Common sense would dictate that just seven months after the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date would be far too early for the South Korean company to unveil next year’s Android flagship. However, all signs point to very few other devices of great significance on Samsung’s calendar before the release of the Galaxy S4, therefore it is difficult to imagine what else it could otherwise be.
In the meantime however, Samsung has been more than liberal with the details about what to expect from the upcoming Galaxy S3 Premium Suite upgrade. With a complete rundown now having been unveiled, Samsung has made public a dizzying array of new features and tweaks under several headings including “Powerful Multimedia” and Enhanced Features”.
Among the new goodies, multi-window support is likely to prove one of the most popular and useful features – one already in use with the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Galaxy Note 2. Another impressive addition is the low-light camera function and “Best Face” shooting, which snaps five pictures at a time in order to rule out any person in the shot blinking when the shot is taken.
