Despite the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is still going from strength to strength as the world’s favorite Android Smartphone, hundreds of thousands are already waiting with bated-breath for next year’s Samsung Galaxy S4 release date. And with such impatience of course comes rumor-mongering of the highest order, which has in just a few short weeks put together an almost comprehensive image of the fabled Galaxy S4’s core specs and features.
The usual grain of salt is recommended as with all rumors, but it is understandably difficult not to be swept up and largely blown away by what the Samsung Galaxy S4 might just deliver.
With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 having either lost its status as flagship new-Android-bearer, chances are the South Korean tech-giant will be looking to throw everything including the kitchen sink at the Galaxy S4.
Starting from the front, Samsung has already admitted investing considerable efforts in flexible Super AMOLED Touchscreen technology, therefore shy of a wrap-around screen we can at least expect a stunning edge-to-edge panel of 5-inches or more. This is expected to be garnished with a 1.9-megapixel Skype-certified camera on the front, while a minimum of 13-megapixels will be delivered to the rear by the most advanced camera ever fitted to a Smartphone.
With regard to the primary specs and features under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has apparently been earmarked to carry a Samsung Exynos quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz, backed by a minimum of 3GB of RAM and gigantic 3,400mAh battery.
All of the above will be topped off with the latest build of Android available at the time, most likely Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
This may all sound a little far-fetched at such an early stage, but rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date is already penciled-in to follow next year’s Mobile World Congress – suggesting a Q1 release date or unveiling at least.
