Will the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date be worth waiting for? A fair question given the rivals on the market today, but the answer is frankly a no-brainer if a little thought is given to what we know already.
Even today, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most cherished, impressive and revered Smartphones on the market and is flying out in almost insurmountable numbers. To date, the S3 has shifted over 30 million units all over the world and broken pretty much every Samsung Galaxy and Android Smartphone record in the book.
Even so, rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date is no more than a few months away – though so too of course are several rivals. Between now and the close of the summer months, we can expect to see arrivals of or release date announcements for the BlackBerry 10 Z10 and X10, the HTC M7, an all-new Google Nexus Smartphone, the LG Optimus 2 and of course, the fabled iPhone 6 – aka the iPhone 5S.
So, would it really be wise to hold out and see what Samsung has in store, or simply go for the first of the super-premium bunch that fits the bill?
Well, all we have to go on at present are various spec, feature and release date rumors, but even so the picture is becoming clearer and prettier by the day. Chances are that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch with a show-stopping display that puts all existing Retina panels to shame, a quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz or more, up to 3GB of RAM, flexible/unbreakable screen technology, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or 5.0 Key Lime Pie and the kind of battery-life we’ve yet to be graced with on the Smartphone market.
And even beyond the guesswork, the track-record of the Galaxy S Series has been flawless, Android software updates are usually right at the front of the queue, the S4 may be the device to debut Android Key Lime Pie, the S range is always one of the most reasonably-priced, rollouts are impressively smooth and finally, will a few more months sitting on your cash kill you?
Only time will tell whether or not the device hits the spot and is worth buying, but in a realistic sense the answer is a resounding yes…the Galaxy S4 release date is worth waiting!
