Guess what – the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date drive begins tomorrow…just in case you didn’t know.
Yes, the most blindingly obvious and pointless reminder of the year so far, but it seems that Samsung also has no intention of allowing anyone on Earth to forget about the due date for its latest and greatest Android Smartphone. Just in case the online teasers, videos, posters and over nine-months of rumor-mongering weren’t enough, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has now been pushed once again by way of a flash mob in New York’s Times Square.
Times Square also happening to be the place where the S4 launch event is set to take place tomorrow evening at 7pm local time.
Flash mobs can be anything from cheesy and painful to show-stopping and breath-taking. This one however was somewhere in the middle, involving a bunch of blokes dressed in bowler hats and suits doing a pretty little dance, winking at the crowds quite a lot and merging with each other a few times to deliver the message.
Said message of course being “BE READY 4 THE NEXT GALAXY.”
It’s once again becoming one of those scenarios where it’s hard not to already be in love with the Samsung Galaxy S4, despite the fact that we don’t yet know single one of its specs and features. It really a testament to the hype you can build if you have the capital to do so – precisely why manufacturers like HTC, LG and Sony have due cause to fear for the lives of their own imminent newcomers.
Should the rumor-mill have hit the nail on the head – God willing – the Samsung Galaxy S4 will deliver ground-breaking specs and features the likes of an octa-core processor, up to 128GB of storage, a 4.99-inch true HD touchscreen and various other weird and wonderful goodies like gesture control and wireless charging.
