In what appears to be an effort to share the joy that is the Samsung Galaxy S3 with a slightly more cerebrally challenged consumer base, the company’s soon to be released Premium Suite upgrade is to make the handset quite excessively easier to use.
Already running with pride on the Galaxy Note 2, Samsung’s “Easy Mode” will be coming to the S3 enabling both “First time users” and indeed the “Really, really lazy” to get the most from their Android flagship – in the very words of Samsung.
How very charming.
Easy Mode is to be one of a total of 14 new features and toys to play with when the Premiums Suite Upgrade for the Galaxy S3 lands – seven were revealed last week and the rest have now been announced.
Another of the features likely to appeal to those looking to save a Nano-second here and there is the addition of further shortcuts on the home-screen to some of the more frequently used tools, such as battery life, weather and connectivity. On a more genuinely helpful note, the ability to easily pan sound from left to right is sure to be appreciated by those with hearing difficulties affecting one or both ears.
Further accessibility features have also been added for the visually impaired.
Best Face will allow the S3 user to take multiple photographs at the same time, so as to produce a final image with the best overall look – a feature designed to eliminate the chances of snapping a blink. Samsung has also added an array of new photo filters in the form of the Paper Artist feature.
In fact, the only thing Samsung hasn’t fully spilled the beans on is when exactly to expect the S3 Premium Suite Upgrade release date – we’re guessing it can’t be far away, mind.
