For those looking to take a chance on an adjustable rate home purchase loan, the 7/1 ARM can be taken home for 2.750% to begin and APR of 3.139% variable, while the 5/1 ARM continues to perform strongly at 2.625% to start and APR of 3.118% variable.
Home refinance mortgage rates now and Bank of America kicks off with the 30 year fixed rate loan at 3.750% and APR of 3.920%, while the shorter 15 year version of the same loan is now at 2.875% and APR of 3.268%.
The 7/1 refinance ARM can be taken home for 3.000% to start and APR of 3.262% variable, while the 5/1 ARM is performing well at 2.750% to begin and APR of 3.189% variable.
The benchmark 30 year fixed rate mortgages at Citi Mortgage (NYSE:C) start at 3.250% with an APR of 3.434%. The shorter term 15 year fixed rate mortgage interest rates at the bank start at 2.625% and an APR of 2.899%.
Standard 30 year refinance fixed rate loan interest rates at Citibank have been listed at 3.500% and APR of 3.661% today. The shorter term 15 year refi FRM interest rates can be had for 2.875% yielding an APR of 3.159%.
