Mortgage Rates at Citibank (NYSE:C) and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) have been largely tied for much of the week so far, with only the slightest of fluctuations to report on a day to day basis. Standard 30 year refinance FRMs are 3.375% at Citi Mortgage with an APR of 3.555% today. Shorter term, popular 15 year refinance FRMs are being quoted at 2.750% at the bank and APR of 3.070% today.
Bank of America
Home purchase mortgage rates first and today sees Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) offering the standard 30 year fixed rate home loan for 3.250% and APR of 3.456%, while the shorter 15 year variant can be taken out and locked in for 2.750% and APR of 3.118%.
For those looking to buy a new or used home with an adjustable rate home purchase package, the 7/1 ARM today opens up at 2.875% and carries an APR of 3.192% variable, while the 5/1 ARM can be taken out for 2.625% to start and APR of 3.123% variable.
Moving on the home refinance mortgage rates now and Bank of America is today offering the 30 year fixed rate deal for 3.625% and APR of 3.853%, while those opting for the 15 year variant can expect to pay 2.875% and APR of 3.258%.
For home refinance borrowers choosing the 7/1 ARM today the interest rate starts at 3.000% and the APR is 3.278% variable, while the 5/1 ARM can be taken out starting at 2.750% and with an APR of just 3.204% variable.
