Mortgage rates improved for the first time in over a week as the stock market took a dive yesterday on bad economic news from Europe.
Standard 30 year loan interest rates are listed at 3.500% at Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) and APR of 3.834%. 30 year FHA loans are listed at 3.250% at the bank with an APR of 3.930%. The shorter term 15 year loans start at 2.750% with an APR of 3.239% today.
In the ARM arena, 5 year deals stand at 2.125% at Wells with an APR of 3.004%. FHA ARM loans in the 5 year category are being offered for 2.250% with an APR of 2.579%.
The benchmark 30 year refinance FRM interest rates at Wells have been listed at 3.625% and an APR of 3.799% today. The typically lower FHA 30 year refinance loans start at 3.625% yielding an APR of 4.686%. The typically higher interest jumbo 30 year refinance loans are listed at 4.125% at the bank and an APR of 4.256% today.
Large (in eligible areas) 30 year refinance fixed rate mortgages are being offered for 3.750% with an APR of 3.878%.
Large (in eligible areas) 30 year FHA refinance loans are being offered for 3.750% and APR of 4.775%.
The short term, popular 15 year refi fixed rate loan interest rates start at 2.875% today and an APR of 3.182%. The 5/1 Adjustable Rate Mortgages are being quoted at 2.375% at Wells. with an APR of 2.951% to start. As far as refi FHA ARMs go, 5 year interest rates are on the books at 2.250% with an APR of 2.900% to start. The 5/1 refi Jumbo Adjustable Rate Mortgage interest rates are being offered for 2.625% with an APR of 2.993%. Large 30 year refinance ARM loan interest rates are 2.625% yielding an APR of 2.993%.
