Good news for those holding for an unlocked HTC One with a slightly lower price tag – it’s looking like we’ll be seeing exactly that before the end of the month!
Rumor has it that the unlocked HTC One with 32GB of onboard closet-space will hit the market toward the end of March, sporting a not-too shabby price of just $730. If true, an unlocked HTC One will set you back considerably less than the Nokia Lumia 900, the incredibly sought-after BlackBerry Z10 and the stunning Sony Xperia Z.
At the same time, we’re also being told that the 64GB unlocked HTC One will arrive for a respectable $825, coming in a generous $25 cheaper than the equivalent iPhone 5.
So, what does the HTC one bring to the table in terms of bang for buck?
Well, we’re looking at the all-new flagship for the HTC brand with a suitable new-generation list of specs and features. Under the hood lies a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, which is backed by 2GB of RAM and gets its juice from a mighty 2.300mAh battery. Upfront you’ll find a 4.7-inch 1080 by 1920 touchscreen with a retina-shredding pixel density of 460pp, which frankly makes the screens of the iPhone 5 and other top-tier rivals look pretty pathetic.
One of the most curious features of all is the Ultrapixel camera to the rear, which has yet to be fully stripped down and tested out but will apparently deliver quality superior to a 13-megapixel shooter be using just 4-Ultrapixels.
And at the driving seat will of course be Android Jelly Bean, which is still as astounding today as it ever was.
We’ll await official unlocked HTC One release date and price information, but the above is beginning to look a decidedly safe-bet.
