A week of ups and downs has led to Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) and US Bank (NYSE:USB) entering Sunday with largely identical home purchase mortgage rates, with neither having a significant upper-hand.
US Bank
The best 30 year fixed rate mortgage interest rates at US Bankcorp (NYSE:USB) have been quoted at 3.250% yielding an APR of 3.441%. 30 year FHA FRMs are 3.250% at the bank and an APR of 3.791%. The higher interest jumbo 30 year loans have been offered at 3.750% with an APR of 3.894%.
VA 30 year mortgage interest rates are on the books at 3.500% and APR of 3.826%.
Popular 15 year loan interest rates are coming out at 2.500% at the bank today yielding an APR of 2.803%.
The FHA 15 year mortgage interest rates have been offered at 2.750% yielding an APR of 3.433% today. 15 year Jumbo FRMs are being offered for 2.750% today and an APR of 3.000%. 15 year VA loan interest rates are published at 2.750% and an APR of 3.323%. 10 year loans at the bank can be had for 2.375% today with an APR of 2.920%.
3 year ARM interest rates have been published at 3.375% today and APR of 3.628%. In the ARM arena, 5 year interest rates are coming out at 2.875% at US Bankcorp and an APR of 3.420%. ARMs and their APRs change as interest rates move up and down.
Wells Fargo
The best 30 year loan interest rates at Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) are published at 3.250% and an APR of 3.577%. The FHA 30 year loans start at 3.000% with a bit higher APR of 3.657%. Shorter term 15 year fixed rate mortgages are published at 2.375% at the bank today and an APR of 2.856%.
ARM interest rates in the 5 year category are published at 1.875% at Wells with a starting APR of 2.998%. FHA ARMs in the 5 year category have been offered at 2.250% and an APR of 2.579%.
The best 30 year refinance fixed rate loans have been listed at 3.375% at Wells and APR of 3.546% today. The best 30 year refinance FHA FRMs at the bank have been offered at 3.250% and APR of 4.274% today. The best 30 year refinance jumbo loans are coming out at 3.625% today with an APR of 3.753%.
Large (in eligible areas) 30 year refinance fixed rate loan interest rates start at 3.500% and an APR of 3.627%.
Large (in eligible areas) 30 year FHA refinance fixed rate loan interest rates have been quoted at 3.250% and an APR of 4.224%.
The shorter term, popular 15 year refinance FRM interest rates at the bank are listed at 2.625% carrying an APR of 2.930% today. The 5 year refi Adjustable Rate Mortgages at Wells Fargo are 2.125% and an APR of 2.947%. As far as refi FHA ARMs go, 5 year loans stand at 2.250% yielding an APR of 2.900%.
