Google’s latest and greatest Nexus Smartphone, the LG Nexus 4, has proved to be quite the success story in its early days – having completely sold out since its official release date rolled around on Tuesday. However, the hugely popular Nexus 4 is also destined to make an appearance on the T-Mobile network in the near future, giving those that missed out the first time around a second chance
Those trying to buy via the Google Play store are as of now being presented with a “We are out of inventory. Please check back soon” message. This is the same for both the 8GB Nexus 4 at $299 and the 15GB version at $349 – both of which were released on Tuesday across the US, the UK, Canada, Spain, Germany and France.
These are likely to continue proving the most popular version as these are the unlocked LG Nexus 4 variants, though the 16GB version is soon to see a release date on the T-Mobile network with an ON-contract price of $199.
By contrast, the unlocked LG Nexus 4 with 16GB storage will carry a price of $499 via T-Mobile, which is expected to arrive in some locations as early as today. The T-Mobile website is however currently offering customers the opportunity to sign up for email alerts as and when news on the Nexus 4 becomes available.
Officially unveiled to the world last month, the LG Nexus 4 boasts a superb 4.7-inch display packing in 320ppi resolution, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 2GB of RAM under the hood. Its party-piece is however its temporarily exclusive rights to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which features a number of new tweaks and features designed to offer the smoothest overall use experience to date.
