The countdown to the HTC One release date extravaganza has entered its final 24-hours, with huge-scale press events from the Taiwanese company scheduled to take place tomorrow in London and New York at the same time.
And just to make sure hysteria keeps pace in the meantime, the folks over at @evleaks have graced us all with newly leaked images which apparently depict the HTC One in a black and grey color-scheme.
Other than the colors the HTC One will most likely be available in the new images cast little additional light on the project, though the picture has become a relatively clear one over recent weeks.
With regard to form factor the HTC One is clearly a stunner, sporting two capacitive buttons, discreet speaker grills, front-mounted camera sensors and a frankly gorgeous metal casing. As far as raw grunt and power goes, rumor has it that the HTC One will fly the flag for the brand in magnificent style with a 4.7-inch 468ppi display, quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 32 GB storage, 2GB of RAM and a rear camera delivering 4.3-ultrapixels for breath-taking clarity and brightness.
And as far as release dates go, we’ve been reliably informed from various corners that the HTC One will hit the UK and parts of Europe first in the early days of March, followed by a US launch on March 22nd.
We had come to know the next flagship from HTC as the HTC M7, though the leaking of banner ads has all but confirmed that the device will in fact launch as the HTC One – a name that gives good indication as to proud HTC is of its latest offspring. Over the last few days, the official HTC website’s main landing page has been replaced with a countdown timer for tomorrow’s events, which in the background shows a few brief and well-hidden flashes of the HTC One.
And just in case all of the above wasn’t enough…the rumor mill has also now flagged up the equally unannounced HTC G2 an M4 as potential imminent releases from the firm.
