Could this be the first official look at the upcoming BlackBerry 10 Smartphone coming soon from RIM?
Apparent leaks have been abundant to say the least over the past couple of weeks, but the latest example is perhaps more exciting than all the rest put together. Should the folks over at Unwired Review be onto something – Lord knows we hope they are – this is the official BlackBerry Z10 that is to be unveiled on January 30th – the Smartphone we’d come to know as the BlackBerry L-Series, or the BlackBerry London.
The image is said to be a leaked copy of an actual marketing page for the device itself, which RIM hadn’t intended to make public quite so soon. If authentic, we can see than the BlackBerry Z10 will be available in white and a two-tone color variant – both of which are pictured.
Little additional light is shed on the subject of specs ad features to expect, though the rumor mill has already painted a pretty conclusive picture for us.
In addition to the X10, the same report also went on to discuss the elusive BlackBerry 10 N-Series Smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard, which will apparently carry the title of BlackBerry X10. No promotional images have yet been leaked of the X10, though it is expected that its form factor will be closer to that of traditional BlackBerry Smartphones than the Z10.
The countdown to the BlackBerry 10 release date has seen the subject dominating the world’s technology press as critics and consumers alike continue to questions RIM’s chances of success. Recent weeks have seen the Canadian company reach dizzying highs and plummet once again practically overnight, leading to relatively few conclusions as to how the BlackBerry 10 initiative will pan out over the long term.
