Samsung Galaxy S4 specs, features and release date rumors are flying out of the industry thick and fast right now – this weekend having brought a real beauty to light. According to industry sources claiming inside knowledge of the project, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is to feature an all-new Adonis Exynos processor from Samsung, which roughly translated is a new breed of quad-core animal the utilizes 28nm technology.
While the next-generation processor is still to be in its testing phases as is the Galaxy S4 as a whole, production is expected to be ramped up just after Christmas for a global launch in mid to late-Q1 of next year.
The latest report joins the ranks of dozens of others which have collectively put together a near-comprehensive rundown of the specs and features we can expect from the Samsung Galaxy S4. Along with what could prove to be the most powerful processor in the history of the Smartphone industry, the S4 is also rumored to be arriving with an edge-to-edge 5-inch screen, at least 3GB of dedicated RAM, a 15-megapixel digital camera and storage options up to 128GB.
However, while all of the above may certainly add up to the most astounding Smartphone every created in terms of specs, features and raw power, analysts in growing numbers are expressing concern as to whether or not anything on the horizon will actually bring anything new to the table.
Some have already suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 5 – i.e. by delivering a slightly faster, vitamin-enriched version of what we already have, but in no way reinventing the wheel.
That being said, there is still ample time between now and next March for Samsung to well and truly break the mold with an S4 none of us saw coming, but exactly how they can go about this remains anyone’s guess right now.
