While millions across the US wait for the eventual HTC One release date in order to finally get their hands on the thing, HTC is once again talking-up its specs, features and capabilities just to tease us all a little more. This time around, they’re giving the world (or parts thereof) a flavor of just what the average day can be liked for anyone lucky enough to own an HTC One.
As you can probably see by the image, HTC is looking to push the One as something so much more than a Smartphone – rather a pocket-partner designed to enrich and enhance pretty much everything that happens during your average day. And with stunning features like the UltraPixel camera, BoomSound and BlinkFeed to name just a few, it’s pretty much a given that the HTC One isn’t a device that’s easy to get bored with.
Sadly, all of the above is all well and good if you actually own an HTC One, but for vast swathes of eager-beavers across the US, it’s still feeling like its release date is ages away. It isn’t of course, as AT&T has started preorders today and the other biggies are set to follow suit pretty soon, but then there’s that nuisance talk of impending supply shortages due to insufficient yields of UltraPixel camera components.
There are still plenty offering rather stark warnings that initial demand is destined to outweigh supply many times over and even those with preorders set in stone might end up waiting longer than they expected…or wanted.
Nevertheless, HTC is certainly doing a good job of keeping early interest in the One and its resulting momentum going, as with several weeks having already passed since its grand unveiling, we were beginning to wonder how long it would be until most completely forgot about it.
