The 2014 Cadillac CTS has finally been unveiled in all its glory, by way of a series of official images ahead of the car’s New York Auto Show debut. And while the photos don’t exactly show every detail of the new CTS from nose to tail, they’re about a thousand times more revealing than the infuriating camouflaged spy-shots we’ve until now been stuck with.
What can be seen from the pics is that the 2014 CTS seems to have the back on an XTS and the front of an ATS, albeit with a decent series of refinements and tweaks to differentiate it. There’s a new sportier-looking front arrangement with superb LED light design and a brand-new front grille, which combine for a pretty striking impact.
It’s also pretty clear that Cadillac have gone to town with the interior of the 2014 CTS, which can be seen to boast a luxury wood trim and tons of top-tier refinement across the cockpit. If a genuine replication of what to expect when the commercial launch rolls around, the 2014 CTS represents a quite staggering evolution for both the model and the brand as a whole by way of both aesthetics and refinement.
Under the hood, the new 2014 Cadillac CTS will launch with a pretty hefty 420BHP V-8 twin-turbo powerplant which is pegged to be one of the most efficient the automaker has every created.
Full price and launch details are expected to be release when the 2014 CTS struts its stuff at the upcoming New York Auto Show.
