With a generous nod going to the 2013 Pathfinder, Altima and Sentra, Nissan has this week reported a jump in sales for the month of November, having gained 12.9% year on year to reach 96,197 units sold across US Nissan and Infiniti brands.
Sales for the Nissan brand topped out at 85,182 representing year on year growth of 9.8%, while the company’s Infiniti line shifted 11,897 units to gain a massive 41.2% on the same time last year.
Among the key contributors to Nissan’s highly successful month, the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder along with remaining 2012 models sold in extraordinary numbers last month following the unveiling of the new model, seeing sales of the SUV jump by 249.5%.
The latest version of the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle also enjoyed a strong month, achieving sales of 1,539 or an increase of 129%.
Nissan’s redesigned 2013 Altima expectedly led the charge with sales of 20,305 for the month, representing an increase of 20.305. This has recently been joined by the new 2013 Nissan Sentra, which is likely to see further gains for the automaker for the remainder of the year.
Meanwhile, the Infiniti QX increased sales figures by 46.7% to come out at 2,121 for the month of November, while 2,529 JX 7s were shifted over the course of the month.
